At the helm of the Boss Lady Events team is Daksha.
For over 20 years she has been involved in the hospitality industry, working across all aspects of operations, learning and development and management. She has also gained project management and leadership qualifications from her time with a global consulting company.
Daksha decided to leave the corporate world in 2014 and spend more time with her family and in the event décor business she ran with her sister, taking all her previous hospitality and project planning experience on her new journey.
However, very quickly it transpired that the industry, its clientele and events had rapidly evolved and become more complex. Clients wanted more detailed plans and flawless execution on the day! Friends and family had to enjoy the day too, not rush around after the bride and groom or suppliers.
Life in general is so much busier - the seed was now planted and the natural transition into Boss Lady Events began!
Event décor and design will always remain within the Boss Lady Events portfolio. Their natural eye for detail will always ensure all aspects of the event combine together perfectly. Having the honour of working with some of the finest suppliers in the industry enables Daksha and her team to deliver a spectacular end result.
It is therefore no surprise to those that know her reputation for attention to detail and natural flair for getting the job done, she has continuously been rewarded with recommendations from clients and also fellow suppliers she has worked alongside.
More recently she has been recognised with the award of Regional Wedding Planner of the Year for the West Midlands, followed by the accolade of Overall Winner for Wedding Planner of the Year at the English Wedding Awards 2023.
